What does the Bible say about Surrendering to God
Surrendering to God means giving up our own control and trusting Him completely. The Bible teaches that surrender is not a sign of weakness but of faith. When we surrender, we acknowledge that God’s ways are higher than ours and that He knows what is best for us. Instead of trying to run our own lives, we let God lead us.
One of the most powerful examples of surrender in the Bible is Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. Before going to the cross, He prayed, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done” (Luke 22:42, NKJV). Jesus showed that true surrender is choosing God’s will even when it is difficult.
The Bible calls us to trust in God rather than in our own understanding.
